Taco Bell

It's not every day you see a mint Ferrari 308 GTSi in a Taco Bell parking lot at 10pm on a Wednesday night. Must have spent $25k on the car and now has only Taco Bell to take his girl.

I told my buddies I was with that if I had been that guy, I would have asked my girlfriend to sit on the curb for a minute while I got in and drove away. Would have been much easier then enduring the months or years of her feeling inferior to my car.

I did watch him wipe the car down with the softest towel I've ever seen before he let her get in. Too funny. I wish the camera on my BlackBerry didn't suck so bad. Sorry about that.

Lot's of important stuff here. I wanted the starter GPO's for Windows 7 since I'm seeing some strange behaviors running our current corporate policy. I will also need GPMC and this is the only place to get it. I thought the link was hard to find so I figured I'd post it here!

Using the new Easy Transfer...

Easy Transfer actually works now! How cool is that. In the past, it was very difficult to get Easy Transfer to actually both save from your down-level operating system and restore to the current version of Windows. Even if you could get it to be successful, it was rare that it actually moved this you wanted. I just performed the tranfer on my Windows 7 computer while I typed this and it finished moving about 640MB worth of stuff in about 5 minutes from a network share. Got to go see if it really put things where it's supposed to be!

Weird Prompt on Windows 7

So I get this weird prompt on Windows 7 every time I try to access a network resource. It's a prompt titled "Enter Network Password" and the error at the bottom says: "The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security. Please ensure that you can contact the server that authenticated you."

This error (and the long delay accessing the network resource) remind me of a similar issue in the past (like with Windows XP) but I'm still searching my memory banks...
